Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information is processed when you use YT to MP3 (the "Service"), why, and the choices you have.
Who we are: YT to MP3 is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: support@yttomp3.app.
What we don't collect
- We don't ask for your name, email address or any account.
- We don't store the files you convert, and we don't keep copies of them.
What we do process
1. Basic technical data. Like every website, our servers and our network provider receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. It is used to deliver the Service, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example rate limits and bot checks).
2. Conversion statistics. To improve the Service we record which video was converted (its ID, title and channel), the chosen quality, whether it worked, how long it took, the type of device and browser, and your approximate country. Instead of your IP address we store a one-way code that changes every day, so these records can't be linked to you. Individual records are deleted after 30 days; only totals (for example "conversions per day") are kept longer.
3. Your settings. Your choices, such as light or dark mode, are saved only in your own browser.
Cookies and advertising
YT to MP3 is free because it shows ads. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. By using YT to MP3, you accept this. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Service providers
We use carefully chosen providers to run the Service:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile);
- advertising partners — to show ads;
- YouTube / Google — video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers.
These providers may process data in countries outside your own, with appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
We process technical data, statistics and advertising cookies based on our legitimate interest in running a free, secure and reliable service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete data about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't store your IP address or identity with conversion records, we usually cannot link records to a specific person. To make a request, write to support@yttomp3.app. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to see how many people visit YT to MP3 and which pages they find useful. For this, Google receives technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you view, and uses cookies. You can block these cookies in your browser settings at any time. Details are in Google's Privacy Policy.
